The Education and Training Section of Cooperativa Integral da Terra brings together projects and members who promote education, continuous learning, and the transmission of knowledge.

We believe that teaching is a cooperative act — a way to share experience, awaken curiosity, and strengthen the community.

In this section, education goes beyond the classroom: it takes place in kitchens, in the fields, in workshops, and in intergenerational gatherings.

Each workshop, course, or educational programme is an opportunity to connect knowledge with real life and to bring humans back into relationship with the land.

What We Do

The Education and Training Section develops and supports formal and non-formal education activities linked to personal, social, and ecological regeneration.

It includes:

• Practical workshops and courses on food, agriculture, construction, and crafts;
• Continuous training programmes for cooperators, trainers, and local entrepreneurs;
• Educational activities for children and young people, in collaboration with schools, local authorities, and associations;
• Residencies and international exchanges, promoting shared learning and rural mobility;
• Cooperative training, to strengthen skills in management, communication, and sustainability.
