The Housing and Construction Section of the Integral Cooperative of the Land brings together members and projects that work on ecological construction, sustainable rehabilitation, and cooperative housing models.

We believe that the way we build and inhabit reflects the way we relate to the world and that a house is more than walls: it is a space of life, community, and belonging.

What we do

This section promotes constructive solutions that respect the land, resources, and people, through:

• Ecological and modular construction, with natural materials and low environmental impact processes;
• Rehabilitation of rural and traditional buildings, preserving local heritage;
• Cooperative housing models, which promote the sharing of spaces and resources;
• Assisted self-construction, empowering members to participate in building their own homes;
• Training and practical experimentation, in partnership with the Education and Agriculture sections;
• Management of energy, water, and sanitation in off-grid or regenerative contexts.
