Temperos da Argas

Recipes, books and workshops for eating well as a family

Temperos da Argas is Márcia Patrício’s project in Odemira, dedicated to family food. It shares everyday recipes organised by season and by type of diet, many of them gluten-free.

Six cookbooks

The project has produced six books, including Bolo de Domingo and O Pão Nosso, both gluten-free, Família Paleo XXI – À Mesa, A Alma da Terra – Sente-se à Mesa, a celebration of Odemira’s coastal and inland cooking, and Trincando, a book of gluten-free biscuits.

Workshops and sharing

The recipes move from the page to the kitchen in cooking workshops. The Pequenos Temperos project brings cooking and food literacy to children and families through hands-on, intergenerational workshops.
