Quinta Vale da Lama is a Regenerative Organic Farm serving a wide variety of bio-certified vegetables & fruits to the Lagos markets and local subscribers for weekly offerings from the garden.
2023 VALE DA LAMA joined the COOPERATIVA DA TERRA as a FOOD HUB, located in Odiaxere, next to Lagos. That meands that it is a local distribiution point of the NETWORK of COLMEIA, where you can discover and buy COLMEIA products and collect your orders.

The dream of Walt (resident, CoFounder, ReFarmer) is having “Everything you need to be well-nourished” on this farm what finally come true with the launch of our FOOD HUB. If you are a SLOfood (Seasonal, Local, Organic) fan that also values the convenience of one-stop shopping, do come by and check us out.
It is actually no wonder that COOPERATIVA DA TERRA and VALE DA LAMA are working together, as the two underlying philosophies have a lot in common.
The story starts many years ago:
Walt and Nita, farm owners, meet in 1987 and start dreaming with their potential impact in creating a better world. Together they are willing to invest their resources and skills in something positive and useful not only for themselves, but for the planet and humanity.
Inspired by traditional portuguese culture and willing to live closer to nature, they decide to move to Portugal and develop a project that would benefit people from diverse backgrounds, providing learning experiences for kids and supporting families with their needs.
